Building AI surrogates for engineering simulation is compute-heavy at both ends. Generating the training data means running high-fidelity CFD and FEM campaigns; training models on that data means sustained GPU time. Cloud infrastructure is what makes both practical for a company of our size.
AWS Activate gives us access to exactly that: GPU instances to train our models on, and the infrastructure to deploy our first working systems. It is the foundation the early version of our technology is being built on.
For a company whose product is measured by how quickly it can turn simulation data into a usable model, having that headroom from the start makes a real difference.
