We are proud to announce that Spaider has been selected for ESA BIC Padova, the European Space Agency’s Business Incubation Centre. 🚀
ESA BIC supports companies applying space technologies to new markets, and transferring innovation between the space sector and other industries. For us it is a natural fit: the AI methods we build to accelerate engineering simulation face exactly the constraints that space applications impose — complex physics, expensive analyses, and design cycles that have to converge quickly.
The incubation runs for 18 months and comes with €50,000 in funding. Over that period we will work across several topics of interest to the aerospace sector, spanning CFD, FEA, computational electromagnetics and the AI techniques that tie them together. Locally the programme is run by Officina Stellare, whose support and network we are glad to have behind us.
Joining ESA BIC is an important milestone for Spaider and opens the door to the European space ecosystem.
